I have a 91 formula, 426 hp, 432 lbs. I built the engine myself. I am looking at getting a 93 LT1 parts car for the 6 speed, and a body kit from fxdesigns. With a $10,000 limit and 10 months to plan until i get out of Iraq, I would like to see what is possible with that type of limit.
My engine took me a while, but in all it was $1,800 by the time i was done. If I can keep the cost down... Anything may be possible.
I am trying to build it into a drifter. I have a lot of ideas, but most people get more creative than me.

 

I just came across a cross-ram intake on ebay.... Would it be possible to try twin turbo and keep it under the hood. What hood would I need to clear it, and how do you tune carbs for turbo? I know i would have to build a new engine with lower compression, but i have never messed with turbo's and don't even know tthe basics for the tuning..... would that be better left to a speed-shop?
