should i or shouldn't i

im looking at buying a 83 camaro z28 crossfire injection for a grand but when you start the car up after about a minut of running it start tapping from the lifters when i give it gas it gets quieter but never gose's away should i go ahead and buy the car or not and about how much would it caust to take to a shop to get fixed or is it something i could fix easy

I'd say try to talk him down to 500. It's an expensive problem to fix if your taking it somewhere, and crossfire cars aren't very desirable anyway.

i got him down from 1800 to a grand and i dought he will go any further on the price since its a cali car with no rust and im in missouri where most cars have rust and all
