fuel gauge needle bobs

ok next problem is my fuel gauge needle will bob when I press on the accelerator pedal. is my fuel bobber out of wack or is it a cable issue? and yes I know I really need to get a chiltons or haynes :/

They all bob. Get used to it. When it stops bobbing, pull into a gas station.

yeah mine bobs between empty and 3/4 when I have around a half a tank depending on how hard I hit the gas.

Fix: get a newer car? heh.

alright LOL, thanks guys. wasn't too sure as I've never seen it on other cars. course never drove nother car with a v8 in it,
