I get rid of the A/C and got a supposed non a/c bracket. It is only one bracket is there supposed to be more then one piece? The a/c one was 3. Not sure how to make the one bracket i have work.

That picture shows an A/C equipped setup. The lower brace is used on A/C cars as well and bolts to a stud on the back of the PS pump. The upper one is definitely for an A/C equipped car becuase that's what came stock on my A/C equipped Malibu in 78! There is a down-piece that bolts to the exhaust manifold and interlocks with that upper brace that is missing from the picture as well.

My car definitely never had A/C but it had those brackets. I'm now not using the upper one, since I realized it is only needed for the spacer on that stud. I just use some washers I think now.
Clear as mud then F355bird?
