Is this a Good Deal?
This is the post from a guy that had a 350 up for sale
"I have a 350 I bought as a new crate motor and put it in my old chevy truck.
It is a 4 bolt main.
It has an edelbrock performer manifold and edelbrock 650 4 barrel carb.
Roughly 40,000 miles on it. Running STRONG when I pulled from my truck.
It has been in my garage sitting for about 5 years. never drained the oil or anything so it should be fine."

"Up for grabs is my 4 bolt main chevy 350 that I bought as a new crate motor and put in my old chevy truck. It has an edelbrock performer manifold and edelbrock 650 4 barrel carb.
I put roughly 40,000 miles on it before the truck fell apart. Running STRONG when I pulled from my truck.
It has been in my garage sitting for awhile, but i checked and it cranks over by hand. Has all the stuff still on it: alternator, steering pump, distributor, fuel pump, etc...
A great price, the Intake and carb would cost you nearly as much as this whole motor.
This is an email i got from him
"I would sell it for $400 on the spot.
That was the original minimum I had in my head.
It is a solid motor.
I will even throw in a set of Micky Thompson Aluminum Valve Covers that
I had for it"
Does this sound like a good deal?
Is it a bad thing its been sitting for that long with the fluids in it?
Please give feedback!

Drain, and refill. Do that once it's sitting in your engine bay ready to go.
