92' v8 TBI - Need help!

92' v8 TBI - Need help!

hey guys, i need a little help on where certain plugs go... I just put in a v8 tbi in place of my v6 2.8 (89'). engine/trans/driveshaft and whole wiring harness/computer i got for $400

ScottieB What year and car make donor TBI was sourced from? What is ECM type and BCC from a donor. Try to identify wire colors - clean off oil from wires and when taking connector pictures let see the full connector body and its relative location within engine compartment - reduces guess work. //RF

3:Looks like that is one of the AC plugs.
4: Plugs into the bottom of air cleaner, cant remember what its called
5:Not sure
6:map sensor
7:Not sure
8: The one on the right is looks like the coolant temp sesnor, front of intake
9:Not sure, Looks real close to the alt. plug. But mine looks slightly different.
10:The one on the right looks like you est bypass wire. But it should be on the pass. side.
One on the left looks like temp. swicth. Pass side head in between #1 and #3 cylinder.
11:Not sure
12:Not sure
13:Looks like one of your smog pump plugs
14:I dont have that on mine anymore, forget what it is
15:Part of the AIR tube system. goes from the smog pump to the air tubes that go into the exhaust manifold and then to the cat.
16:Thats goes into the side of the air cleaner.

0019 Not Sure - Possibly IAC and EGR solenoid control

0021 Not Sure - possibly main sensor ground to block

0024 ??? PS Switch???
0025 AIR manifold inlet - check valve
0026 AIR diverter valve
0027 valve cover to AIR cleaner crank case purge

thanks for the help guys, on sunday when im off i'll print off this list and try it out. im just a few nuts/bolts away from making her driveable... a couple of hoses/wires, its just precision now =)

the donor car was a 92' tbi 5.7 (and trans)
the car i have is a 89' mpfi 2.8

i have replaced whole engine harness, motor mounts, computer, other things as needed

i did that back at x-mas when i got my bonus check in from work =) i knew i wanted a v8, i was just waiting for my v6 to go to crap, it went earlier than expected though.
