Hey guys, Im sure most of you know the answer to this question. Where can I purchase a foot of the SAE J30R10 fuel injection hose? Apparently the after market stuff doesn't hold up worth a flip. I replaced the fuel pump last year only to find 4 lbs of pressure upon start up. After dropping the tank, we found that the rubber hose that connects the fuel rail and the pump is all gummed up! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what other product I could use or does anyone know where I can find the SAE hose?

Any parts store should be able to sell you some, they keep it in bulk on a roll. Even a GM dealer might have some. Otherwise, check the local speed shops (not the tuner shops, real performance parts places) and they will have something.

 

Ive tried GM and they dont have it. Said I would have to buy a 25 foot roll. Any other ideas? All I need is a foot, but I guess I might have to bite the bullet and purchase it from NAPA! 30 bucks for a foot!

 

Try the local racing/high performance shops... good ones always keep that stuff on hand, and its usually the good stuff. The NAPA stuff is not bad though. Theres nothing wrong with it AFAIK.
