Cruise Control Delete????

i have an 87 firebird with the lg4 carb system... my cruise control does not work and im not willing to spend money to fix it as i dont drive on the highway enough to make it worth my while... can i just remove it and all the connections, ie throttle cable bracket, vacuum lines etc??? im guessing alot of ppl have already done this and maybe theres a sticky about it that i havent seen, would really like to free up some more room in the engine bay... thanks in advance

Re: Cruise Control Delete????

id really rather just get rid of it to free up space, get rid of the engine bay clutter, and reduce a little weight
