How should I put intake gaskets?

Hi,
Can somebody tell me how should I put intake manifold gasket.
I have two gaskets with one coolant "restrictor" on each. I can put it with restrictor to front or to rear. I don't remember how were instaled old gaskets and in Hayens manual also is nothing about this.

That restrictor is for the exhaust crossover port in the center of the gasket. You can just leave it out.
