Engine: L69

Transmission: 700-R4

changing shift handles

My '84 Camaro came factory with the ball-style shift **** for the 700R4. I'm wanting to change over to the T-handle style. I got a new shifter handle from Modern Day Muscle, but doesn't seem to engage the pin that lets you change gears. What's up with that?

weird. I just went to a t handle on my 91.. got it from an old style monte SS works tho
