very loud vibrating sound

Can anyone give me a clue as to where to start looking at what could be making the very loud vibrating sound heard inside my car- it kinda sounds louder when it idles I think ...and really not at all heard on the outside- pretty quiet motor when starting up and when driving but the vibrations inside are killing me esp at stop lights. Thanks

Re: very loud vibrating sound

Yeah I had a V6 in college and I just got this TA so maybe it just sounds diff than I expected but it is really louder than I want and so I thought maybe it is something I can adjust or that needs to be fixed and I will ck those things- but the car runs just fine. thanks

Exhaust and/or exhaust shields rattling? Headers maybe? Just a thought.
