Out of ideas, please help!
I replaced my coolant temp sensor the other day and it ran fine for that night. Then it started stalling and I can't figure out what is going on. My IAC is new, my TPS is new, my MAF is new, my 02 is working just fine, it's in time, I had my whole vacuum system redone this past winter... When it does run it lacks major power and feels like it's throttling itself. ANY ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Out of ideas, please help!
I think I can rule out the intake leaking because it ran just fine before this weekend after my coolant temp sensor swap. It ran fine for about 12 hours after that, then started stalling. Runs erratic but holds idle with MAF unplugged, even though I JUST bought a new MAF. Can also rule out vacuum since it ran fine until a couple days ago. No check engine light, no backfire, no smoke, bad at all temps, much worse when hot. I got a hunch it has something to do with my TPS. I gave up and brought it to the shop this morning, I'll update when I hear from them.

sound like a bad coolant temp sensor or the wiring and plug. I can remember GM had a problem with the CTS plug and made a kit to repair them.

take the plug off the maf and tighten it up
I cant remember what I used maybe a paperclip
when it starts acting up just move the maf plug around and see if it starts back up
oh yeah I mean the little metal clips inside the plug have to tighten up

Re: Out of ideas, please help!
So the shop called today and told me that my MAF wiring was shorting out, now allowing it to go through it's burnoff cycle when the car starts. They also told me the knock sensor is going off and they're going to look further into that. There is no pinging or anything to the naked ear... Maybe a malfunctioning sensor or I didn't adjust the valves correctly when I put the motor back together. They also said the car keeps retarding the timing every time it's started.
