Thermostat

Yesterday my car overheated because i have a bad thermostat on it. but someone told me that i could just take it out and ride without one has any 1 ever did that before and whats the outcome of me not having 1?

Will it run? Yes. Is it much smarter to pay the 15 bucks to replace it with a 160 degree thermostat? Yes.

From everything I read here with just a 160 degree, I would go higher.

i'd go with a 180*. i have that and the car cools down faster, runs cooler, and i still have heat for the winter.

I replaced mine just the other day with a 180, and believe me, with the time you spend trying to take it off(if your doing it yourself) You dont wanna have to go and do it again, so I would advise just putting a 180 in there since that will only take you like 5m to put it in, then the gasket then the sealer.
