so anyways i did a doughnut in a parking lot for the hell of it then all the sudden my steering wheel got really stiff and i looked under and i had a leak on the high pressure hose i replaced it the steering lossened up so it no longer feels like a no pwr steering fiero , but its still stiff and rigid am i losing it?? isnt ws6 supposed to be nice n' firm compared to a regular base model firebird ? i greased up the suspension and added some lucas treatment to the pump

Because you did not mention it, I will assume it was not completed. Did you bleed the power steering upon completion of the line change?

i did turn the wheel a few times , but i also noticed the belt is flopping around at higher rpms i think i should tighten the belt up some , but isnt the car with the quick turn gear box supposed to be a lil stiff at lower rpms and speed? i mean it still turns it just has a sportier feel to it thats all its not like a total loss of pwr steering
