Cam Help...
I am not sure where this would be best posted, so I posted it here.I am trying to figure out how to choose a cam for my 1986 Iroc LG4. I want something that is better then stock, but im not looking for something thats only going to be good on the strips either.
Edelbrock lists 2 cams from this car. edl-2102 and edl-3702
I don't know much about chosing cams or whats good and whats not, but a friends said that I should go with a cam that summit racing has because its cheeper and will be a good cam, again i am not sure if it is or not, but the summit cam he said to use was: SUM-K1106.
If anyone can help me out with what i should be looking for or if either of these cams are any good, please let me know. I will greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for any help,
Jim

Re: Cam Help...
Does anyone know if the cam I choose has to be one that is computer controled capable? In order to keep the car legal, I need to be able to keep the emmisions, i dont know if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Cam Help...
That one I showed you is computer compatible, so it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm not positive about emissions and computers. I'm sure you need both to keep emissions.
