they are both standerd ac delco plugs. the old on i just pulled out of the car reads R45TS and the new one I just got reads R45TSX. why is there an x at the end. it is for a 1989 gta 350tpi. the kid at the parts store did not look to sure about what he was doing.

it did not look platuim to me. It look the same as the standerd one.

r45ts for point type distributor, ts x for HEI.
