xe 274?

im planning on using this cam in my motor, its a 350 with 9/75:1 comp, camel hump heads that have been pocket ported, aluminum intake with an edelbrock 600 carb and its a 2300 stall in a 700r4 with 3.73 gears, im planning on swapping to this cam and upgrading the exhaust at the same time to hedman long tubes and true duals 2.5 whole way back with bullets, would this cam be a good choice? i want something with a nice sound at idle and something that makes good power and torque, thanks guys

IMO it would be a great choice for that engine. I'm using it myself in a 350, 10:1 CR, 200cc World heads, RPM intake, 650 Holley, 4-spd. Works very well with my setup, which is not radically different from yours.

1.5 rockers, Comp Cams Pro Magnums. Runs really nice, lots of power from about 1800+ and has some nice lope at idle. Its not 'rough' but its got a nice healthy lope to it.
