Gas tank leaking

I just noticed a very small gas leak coming from the gas tank. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the tank? And if not how much would it cost to replace the whole thing? thanks in advance.

Re: Gas tank leaking

There are ways to fix the tank but I wouldn't do them. You are going to have to drop the tank anyway to fix it so I would just get a new tank. Is the leak coming from the strap that goes around the tank? I would go to your junk yard and find a tank. If that doesn't work then buy a 10 gal fuel cell for about 150.00.
