Power Steering Line
Im in the process of replacing the rubber power steering return line, noticed that the return line comes from the gear box as a hard line then to a rubber line about 2 inches long then to a hard line again that runs all the way under the radiator then back up to the pump, is it normall for the return line to run that long. It was like that when i bought the car about 5 years ago, it is an 84 TA. Could I just run about a 12 inch line from the gear box to the pump... ? any advice would be helpfull.. Thanx

Re: Power Steering Line
That's the power steering cooler. You could use a shorter piece and omit it if you wanted to.
