fuel pump went out last nite

I just had my fuel pump go out last nite. I have a 1992 Formula 350, what fuel pump do you suggest? I have been calling all the local auto part stores and they are all about the same price and they all have a 1 yr warranty. I want one that is going to last and will be quiet. Any suggestions?

16 years is not enough time for an item that is electrical with moving parts and runs the entire time the vehicle is on?

Ummm really what does that have to do with his earlier post?

As for quiteness, go with OEM man. I think that would be your best bet.

Re: fuel pump went out last nite

I dont know if it has been replace before or not as I am the third owner. Ever since I bought this car back in Jan the fuel pump has been very loud and annoying so I am kinda glad that it is finally dead so I can get a quiet one haha.

AC Delco would be the quitest, as for Walbro they can get kinda whiney in my opinion. But I'm gonna need the extra fuel soon so I'm just gonna have to suck it up lol.
