Re: fuel pump

Probrably not. May work but will likely keep you from getting the performance you are looking for. Remember bigger engine needs more gas and air. The factory pump for the 3.1 has a lower PSI shut off point and pushes 40 gallons per hour of gas. The pump for the 94 pushes 55 gallons per hour.

Re: fuel pump

i should be able to hook up a fuel pump from a 94 caprice with the lt1 in it and it work fine though right? ...and it will hook up to the standard pickup from a carbureted 86 z28 just fine?

Re: fuel pump

Go to this site: http://www.showmetheparts.com/airtex/
This is Airtex Fuel pumps online catalog. If you type in the application you are pulling from and you can bring up a picture. You can hopefully see if it will mount and connect the way you want it to. Their pumps are close to OE so should be fairly accurate.
