big problem
I met a friend at a truck stop and just like unpredictable weather we have in Wisconsin the rain free day had a 20 min shower which sucks cause my cars wipers don't work so I was there a little longer that everyone else. I went to start my car... their was nothing my fuel pump didn't even turn on. So I figured battery was dead. Popped the hood checked my connections to the battery and starter they were all good. So I tried my fan and radio which is hard wired to the battery they all worked then I tried my head lights they all work and still bright. I then tried my hazards they don't work and nothing else on my steering colom works and my windows don't roll down so now I think is its in my ignition switch. Talking to some people at work on said it could be my starter a bad cell in the battery or what I thought ignition switch. So before I start taring into my car I want to know what you guys think first and also could there be something else wrong with the car

Re: big problem
The hazard flashers are the key. I'm betting that you don't have power to the hazard fuse (and also the key switch) because there is a fuse link that is bad. They are located at the starter where the battery wire comes in.
Get the flashers to work and you've found the problem.
A schematic diagram would be a big help troubleshooting it.

Re: big problem
check all fusible links, cant really help without a diagram and physically seeing it but im sure that might be the case, did you smell burnt wires? Fusible links are designed to just burn up if they overload, like a fuse except harder to replace, ive seen some that burn up half way then work for a while and then just crap out, a wiring diagram and some time would be your best bet to finding the problem
