pulleys and belts :(

why would my belt that goes to the power stearing pump from the crank shaft pulley be hiting the water pump pully... would it have anything to do with the chrome pulleys i am useing... (there all the same size tho)... just trying to get the motor back togeater and lil hold ups like this really slow things down...

get a longer belt and run it over the water pump pulley like this:
