Oil pan size

do third gens have a diffrent oilpans than other one piece SBC's I have a 87 iroc with 89 one piece l98. need a oil pan and just want to make sure it fit when i go to drop it in the car.

I think certain trucks have larger pans. Other then that, no, I don't think it's anything special.

Light duty trucks use the same pan. You have to get over 1 ton to start seeing differences.

Thanks, i just wanted to make sure that there was not a smaller sump to clear the K member or for ground clearance.
