easy question... mounting for EFI fuel filter!?!
stock fuel filter is under car by the tank. im gona be running custom fuel and brake lines. really dont want the filter under the car, bc of corrosion, accessabilty... etc. i got 3/8" steel line and hardline adapters to -6an, then -6an to metric 16mmx1.5 adapters for the stock fuel filter(bc i had a new one, and no need for a high flow, stock flows more than enough)
i would rather the fuel filter be in engine bay since i'll be bending all new line. would it matter if the fuel filter is in the engine bay? not sure why stock is by the tank but would it make a big diff if it was in the engine bay? not if its a good idea but could it be done and still work? wats your take on it?
car is a 383 HSR formula, with 255lph intake high pressure pump.
