1.6 rollers not center ???

1.6 rollers not center ???

ok i just picked up a set of 1.6 roller rockers, i have the rite studs in but the roller tip is not center on the valve, its more on the 1\3 top of it. is this because of the ratio or is there any other reason? i want this done i got a dyno day to go to on saturday

Sounds like your pushrods may be a tad on the long side.

you might have got the 60/40 spaced rockers.

what heads do you have? if you have the AFR 227's they need the offset, so if they were the non offset ones, you might have that issue as well.

the heads are 963 aluminum heads, they have angle plugs and punched out to 2.02\1.6, ported and polished, the rockers are harland sharps, 1.6 i got them for 100 bucks from a guy that built a car and sold it after striping it, never dorve it

buy the way what exacthl changes on the rockers for the different ratios, you would think it would b the pivot point, witch would set the roller a lil forward, i bouight them used so they might b ford, and i caller summit and another speed shop and they said there the same just diff part numbers,

i could take some but currently its not all set as like valve lash and thinhg, and come to think of it would setting that cause it to draw back any?
and i havent compared intake and ex yet ill look and get back to you
