Before i go any further on the engine..
If the intake manifold gasket was blown.. Would that cause the exhuast to smoke blue? So far i got the carb and all the hosing out of the way but before i take off the manifold and do all this work.. I want to make sure im not doing something that isn't even part of the problem.. Thanks.

Blue smoke means you are burning oil somewhere.... My guess is that it's not involved with the intake manifold
