Hey guy i know this might be a why not go see how fast it goes but the speedo only goes to 180KPH

ok so i just bought a 375hp trans am with a 327, stock 5 speed transmission and a 3.40 posi rear end

any one know what my top speed could be and what my 1/4 time would be.

I don't live near a race track so i can't take it out to one.

Top end is still limited by vehicle stability, and aerodynamics. with good suspension 140 mph should be easy in a good third gen. Only real way to know is to open it up when you have a SAFE chance to.

I think that you will run out of gears before you run out of power. It will probably red line in 5th at about 160 - 170 mph with your gearing.
