Cooling problem/ vibration
Well i came across a cooling problem and a vibration issue with my smog delete pulley. Nickels and Dimes......................
its always something.
Problem #1
So yesterday i drink 3 beers on my lunch break and decide to head back into work. (i work at an auto auction, on the weekend its pretty much a ghost town) My day consists of sitting on a computer and waiting for people to pick up cars, which 99% of people do it on the weekend. anyways...
I guess jesus wanted to teach me a lesson on drinking a driving so when i checked my temperature guage on the way to work it was going from 190-230... 235. it would go from 190 and the needle would jump to 230 fast and drop back down. this made me think...maybe my water hose off the water pump is collasping.. or my brand freaking new stewart thermostat is not opening up? This is very unusual because my fresh 360 runs at 160 in the hottest days of the year. the hose is already somewhat collapsed i guess you could say because the lines to the radiator are directly in its path (damn big *** jegs radiator)
and i drove around today and it did the same thing.
Problem #2
I put my smog pump delete pulley in. easy install i might say. I noticed under 700 RPMS or in gear the engine vibrated extremely bad? but once you hit the gas its fine. i have the belt setup the same way, i noticed some people go around the pulley on the right instead of directly under the ac pulley and out from the bottom?
please help!
