Fuel injectors cleaning?

Sorry folks, this probably belongs on TBI board,
but I got zero responses there...
Probably a question posted many times, but
I couldn't find it ...
Any product poured into the gas tank clean the
injectors on a TBI or is that wishful thinking.
Or... remove them and use a solvent of some sort?

Re: Fuel injectors cleaning?

alot of people like to use seafoam, you can get it at any parts store its about 7 bucks a can and i personally like to use it, you can pour half the can in your tank and you can also decarb the motor with the rest. Its a pure petroleum product so its not harmful, i use it on a rag to clean the TBI collar and it does really good. Took the brown color right off from the fuel hitting it, normally i have to scrub it but when i use seafoam i just apply and wipe it off

Get a can and pour it in your tank, it says on a full tank but when my injectors were really bad i poured a full can of seafoam when i had half a tank of gas so it was really strong and it cleaned them right out
