The Right Cam?
would this Cam be ok to use in my 88 trans am its a V8 305Ci 5.0L

Look at something realistic, like an xr264hr or xr258hr or something.

Don't reply to a post with a PM, leave it in the thread. That way your question and my response will be around for others (in the same situation to see). The only dumb question is the one not asked, then assumed, then screwed up!
The ones I posted are great cams for that app.
Porting the heads is a good idea, but not completely necessary.
Timing chain is a wear item. It's $34, i'd replace it while you're there, but you don't NEED to, and there's no adjustment to be made.
You don't adjust fuel pressure, you set it to spec and leave it alone. You will however need to reburn proms and whatnot.
What other mods have been done to this car anyway? You may want to leave the cam until later....
