This is the cam shaft that I have in the 1986 Camaro that I purchased with a TPI system and am making into a drag race car, I am making it a carb car with a victor jr. style intake. Does any one know the power curve for this cam? At what RPM is the peak HP and torque?

That's a pretty tame cam for drag racing, I'd say peak hp at 5500-5800rpm. It should have no problem off the start or need any kind of stall converter.

With a dual plane, and good heads you would be lucky to get 350 hp at 5,000 rpm's. Definately not what your looking for.

What would be a good Hyd. roller cam for the car. And can I use the roller lifters that I have in the motor now? I have a set of world products heads on the car now but I do not know which ones the are and also I do not know what springs are on the heads. I was going to use a single plane intake on the car with a 750 DP Holley.

I'd say intake cam duration of 225-235 @ .050" would be a street/strip cam. If you're really looking for power and not concerned with street, I'd go with something around 245-255 intake duration @ .050. I'd stay with a dual plane intake like the rpm air gap unless you plan either to use a big cam or put in a big stall converter. Maybe as an example: I used a 246/254 dur @ .050 .558/.558 cam with my trick flow heads on the 383 that ended up making 405rwhp @6400rpm and ran a best of 11.44 in my car.
