AS the title stated i just installed the msd digital 6 plus ignition,
It starts up great and worked well. I drove it around and it did fine too.
I slammed on it and as i went through the 4k-6k region the car was breakin up like it was firing right.
Afr gauge was stil 13.6-13.8 like it has been.
Idk if maybe a bad ground or what.
Any suggestions guys?

Is the rest of the ignition up to snuff? Cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil?
Well the car ran good before
It's an msd dizzy
I did however find a couple of scratches in the cap

you are definitely going to need a higher voltage coil with that unit, otherwise you wont get near the full benefit (actually that could be the issue)
did you mess with the timing?
did you set up the rev limiter(s) correctly?
if you dont have a high output coil i think that would be the primary suspect. it is drawing more current than your previous ignition and the coil might not be able to hang with the output of the box.

Well it's a msd big cap distributor
I got a new cap and rotor ima see how that does they were worn out

if you dont have a higher output coil, that is most likely what is causing it.
here is an example of a coil similar to something that you probably need if you dont have it.
