I need a new intake. SUGGESTIONS!

My battery is in the stock location. The otherway, there is minimal clearance between the accessories and radiator. This hot air intake is KILLING my performance. Noticeable difference between a cool motor and a hot one.
Give me some suggestions!

...When you say the battery is in the stock location, I don't know if you mean the driver's side.
If it isn't already, you may be able to put it there and put the air filter beside the radiator like shown below. Piping it may be a struggle because of the diameter.

What do you mean how did i get an LT1 to work? Its pretty common swap.
Yes the battery is on the PASS side. I may need to relocate. What all is involved in that?
I could take the elbow the otherway maybe if i cut off that rad hose holder, and figured out a way to move the elbow out a tad from the tb so it doesnt interfere with the alt, that would be preferable. I could just put the filter where the charcoal canister was.
What do you guys think?

relocate the battery to the back, get a battery box through summit or such or a relocation kit pretty simple i have my battery inside my passenger side wheel well, then you could do a 3 1/2" intake to go through where you battery once was and install your air filter right below that which is what im doing
