vaccum 89 iroc 350 5.7 l & overheating

would anyone know where the vacuum line goes from the other vacuum line that is t off right in front of the air purge tank that runs all the way up the driver side of car ,
i had thought it to go to the back of the egr solenoid ,but the diagram i have
says it should be for fuel and i cant find that ?
thanks

also car is getting too hot ,did pressure test it holds
when i start car you can see the coolant reservoir bubbleing
and its still cold ,what would cause coolant to burn off out the exhaust
would a missing runner bolt, intake gasket do this or is this strictly
head gasket /hair line crack in head's,

i was thinking about taking the intake off and just redo this gasket
and all my problems will be fixed

when i had these heads off about a mounth ago everyone told me it was very unlikely for these heads to crack so i never had them pressure checked
cant see how a compression test would tell where the coolant is comeing from so i desided not to do that
thanks

Looks more like you're going to have to pull the heads off again.
Have them checked for cracks this time and resurfaced.

there is a place i know of right down the street ,what is a fair price to have them checked and resurfaced ,and if there is a crack in one and the other one is fine ,should they both be replaced or do i resurface the new one to ?
is there normally a balance to keep ?thanks for all your help

If one head is to be replaced, the "new" head must be the same part number. If one gets just a cleanup milling it won't affect the compression enough to justify milling the "new" one...unless the "new" one is a used one from a donor car then I would have it checked & cleaned up too. The milling part is not expensive, like $20 bux.
