mine is a 69 327
4.00" bore(now bored out .040)
3.25" stroke
5.7" rod

the pistons for a 327 are different than a 350 which has a stroke of 3.48(IIRC)

Re: 327 specs

'68 is a small journal 327 IIRC, '69 was the first year for the large journal 327. The stock stroke is 3.25", bore is 4.00", and rod length is 5.7"

Re: 327 specs

I don't mean to split hairs, but I am pretty sure 68 was a change over year, where some left over small journals were used, but the new large journal cranks were also in production vehicles. I own a 68 Corvette with the original numbers matching 327 and it has a large journal crank. The only true way to know what you have is to measure...if you need to know that info you are probably rebuilding which means it shouldnt be a problem to pull the pan.

Just my 2 cents.
