what are the signs of a bad neutral safety switch?

engine won't crank when clutch is fully pressed or auto shifter is in park or neural
engine cranks without pressing the clutch or auto shifter in any gear other than P or N

you need an ohm meter to check the switch

If you have either of those 2 problems intermittenly then it is most likely the switch. If it is intermitten then ohm testing may not show a bad switch....but that is the test to use.
