Hard starting IROC

My 86 IROC is starting strangly. The TPI system should allow me to start it without touching the gas pedel, but recently to get it started I have to pump the gas like a carborated car. I have changed the fuel filter, and when it starts( which it always does) it runs fine. The engine is showing no codes, so I am guessing at the problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Hard starting IROC

Do you have to pump the gas pedal to start it when either cold or hot?
Or only when it is cold?
Or only when it is hot?

Re: Hard starting IROC

Always when it's hot and sometimes when it's cold. If it matters, I shut it off the other day, went into the store to buy a lottery ticket (you can always dream), when I came out a minute late it started without touching the gas.

Re: Hard starting IROC

Check your fuelpressure and also check your injectors.
Get back with results on this. Could be leaky injectors / stuck injectors or bad fuelpressure causing this..
