I get off work today and my car will not turn over, the security and ses light are on. Gave it about 3 mins , security light comes on and goes off like it should and the car starts up and runs like normal. Is this a vats problem or what else could it be? It done the same thing about 2 weeks ago and hasnt gave me any problems until today. Should i go ahead and bypass the vats or is it a wast of time, because it is intermittent. Please help this is my daily driver and i cant have it doing this when i need it.

 

Intermittents are pretty frustrating, as they tend to pop up at the worst possible time.

I don't have VATS, I've never messed with VATS, but I tend to not like discussing disabling an anti-theft system. But, there's a tech article on it linked from the thirdgen.org homepage, so you might want to look that over and see if there's any help there.
