i was wanting to know what you guys think was the best cumbo for a daily driver? i dont want to hear ls1 or stock. but has to be able to run good aleast mid 14 1/4mi

 

Combo in my sig fits the bill. Better fuel economy then my wifes 04 ION and still enough power to pull high 13's just not with the edelcrap on well at sea level it will do 14's with the edelcrap.

 

I'd say assume an overdrive transmission. My hopped-up 350 gets better mileage than the now-disassembled stock LG4/TH200C/2.73 combo did.

Next, feedback controls. Not sure what you're starting with, but EFI or CC carb will self-adjust to changing conditions, while open-loop mechanical systems will always be a compromise.

That daily driver Berlinetta in the sig ran several 14.3's @ 94+ MPH at 5800' elevation last Friday (density altitude was about 8000').
