Code 42, welding, and msd boxes.

Right after doing some welding and paint removal on my car with an angle grinder, I got a code 42 for a fault in the EST system the next time I started it. It's possible I could have messed up a wire that I haven't found yet, but I was curious to know if anyone else has gotten a code 42 if their MSD digital 6 started going bad. Even though it says on the manual that it has countermeasures to damage from welding, I'm worried I fried my box. Thanks.

Agh nevermind I found where the wire for my EST was hanging on just by the plastic insulator at the base of the weather pack connector. Problem solved.
