im haveing a problem with my 1985 camaro iroc-z28 v8 350 5.0 automatic transmission it keeps stalling at stop signs red lights pretty much everytime i stop and idel, now i got a oil change, full tune-up, idel adjustments, new o2 sensor so please tell me whats possibly wrong with my car it also has a good amount of miles on the engine soooo HELP!!!!!!

 

It's a swapped in engine, so is is carb'd or TPI? If it's a TPI it might be your IACV. If you can get it on a scanner, see how many steps out it is.

They get pretty gummed up and can be cleaned and reused many times before the stepper motor goes out in them, so you should probably clean it instead of tossing it. Autozone has one for a decent price, but to get it on you're gonna need the right size socket (1 1/8" I think) and you're gonna need to take the throttle body off and take it apart.

Autozone has the right gasket kit, but I can't find it on their website. It'll have all three gaskets for the throttle body, and maybe a couple of extras.
