Okay this guy i know said that i wouldn't be able to put AFR 195cc eliminator heads on a bored and stroked 1991 L98. is there truth in this or do i need to slap him?

 

There should be absolutely no problem in bolting these on your short block. Should be a killer combo!

 

I have them on my 383. No problems. I used the same block as a L98.

 

Okay thanks guys! I'll make sure to slap him. Okay, quick question, i have a 'unknown' 350 under the hood right now. there is what looks like a production number on the block pad in front of the cylinder head, it ends in a 1975, could that possibly be the year?

I have 210 AFR on my 383 and thats fine. It runs good.........realllllll good.

I don't have any "official" power numbers yet. Still tuning.

Cam's a custom grind from Comp Cams:
XFI 224/230 .565/.576 112LSA

 

Wow man, those are some nice lift specs, and with ol a 112 lope seperation, nice, i found some like that but with 110LSA, i don't mind though lol, a choppier idle is okay with me

 

I have a nice lope. That's part of what I was going for.

 

383 using late model 4 bolt main roller block. AFR eliminators 195cc. HSR intake about 400 wheel hp on motor, hoping for near 550 wheel hp on spray

cams is a 230/245 .603/.613 109lsa custom grind hydraulic roller

383 and AFR 195's work good
