I have the same thing. I have a LOT of pressure. If the car is on the last 1/3 of a tank, and I'm stuck idling in traffic for long periods of time, or making quick stops, pressure builds up to the point I can hear the fuel pump squealing.
I know it's a pressure problem, because if I pull over, open the gas cap, and let it vent completely (which takes a minute) I can put the cap back on and keep going, and the fuel pump quits making noise.

Mine was doing the same thing for about a year before my fuel pump went out. After replacing it the pump doesn't make noise when the tank is low anymore. I am not sure as to how much pressure was in the tank when this was happening. I can't remember. Doesn't make sense that replacing the fuel pump would eliminate pressure so maybe it is not related. Or maybe there was something blocking the breather that got knocked free while my arms were burning maneuvering the half full tank in and out of the car
