Re: tbi or carburated?

8th digit in the vin is the engine code. If its a berlinetta, its not a tpi car. # 2 is a 4 cylinder 2.5l tbi, hope thats not your car, S is a 2.8l v-6 mpi, H is a 305 carb, G is a 305 carb, F is a 305 tpi, and 8 is a 350 tpi which wasnt avalible in 86. Not forsure the difference between the H and G 305's.
