battery cable terminal replacement?

battery cable terminal replacement?

I bought 2 replacement bolts for my battery cable terminals a few days ago. Does anyone know how I get the old ones off?? I tried a few different things and couldn't get them. Any imput would be greatly appreciated!

Stop trying to unscrew them!
Hold the terminal with visegrips and use a hacksaw to cut the bolt in the middle. Then you can pull both halves out.

Haha. Yeah, I figured out pretty quick that they weren't gonna screw out! I will find a hack saw and do the deed!!

Just don't skip the vise-grips and try to hold it with your hand. I can show you what the slotted knuckles look like.

Hacksaw? WTF
They simply push out of the plastic. If you really need to you can use a small flat screwdriver to pop it out.

That's what I was thinking too! I tried to pop it out yesterday and I couldn't get it. I would like to avoid using the hacksaw if possible. I value the present state of my engine bay as well as my fingers/hands too much to risk it lol!!
