Heater valve
May seem like a stupid question to some but I`ve been searching and not found a concrete answer.I have deleted my a/c,and gone to the 1LE heater box.All about the same time my heater core started leaking,so I bypassed it and removed the heater controll valve.I just finished installing new heater core today. Will it harm anything to leave the heater controll valve out for now?Other than maybe having coolant flow through the heater core all the time will that be or cause any cooling problems

The only purpose of the valve is to shut off coolant flow when in max AC. All other times, coolant is flowing through the heater core.
Many cars (neither of mine) had the valve to start with.
