I have a 1983 z camaro with a 350

Not sure on the cam. (i know that doesnt help)
holly 750 vac sec.
accel dist. with accel HO coil
91octain mixed 50-50 with 110
stage 2 700r4 with 1800 stall
3.08 gears

This motor is close to a 13.1 motor.

The car needs gears but the best it would do at the track was a 14.17!!!!
is this normal with 308 gears and a small cam??? could it realy kill this motor that bad?

We have put a timing light on it and checks out ok and have tuned the carb and it just wont pull.

 

low gears low stall small cam all lead to long time in 1/4 am i right?
