Need some Torque Specs

I will be putting my motor back together either tonight or tomorrow and need some torque specs. I don't have a manual and don't feel like spending $19.99 on a chiltons at schucks. Unless it is really worth it? Anyways I need head bolt specs, water pump, and Rocker arm nuts with stock heads.

Thank you.

Of course, it's worth the money, especially if you continue to work on your car. Better than relying on someone else to provide you with the info you could have at your fingertips.

Re: Need some Torque Specs

rocker arm nuts? this is a hydraulic cam, you do it to lash.

water pump uses 3/8NC bolts, call it 35ftlbs or so.
that's about "tight".

I believe the cylinder head torque is 65 ft lbs in 3 steps..

Re: Need some Torque Specs

Thanks. I guess I will just go buy it then probably be really usefully. Thank you for the replys so quickly.

The studs are installed into the cylinder head then the rocker arm goes over the stud then theres a bearing sort of thing that goes inside the rocker arm then a nut goes over it to hold the rocker arm in place over the Valve spring. It's all stock I guess.
