UH-oh...Stripped threads. Will this seal?

One intake bolt hole in my aluminum heads got cross threaded so I ran a tap through it and almost got it to work.

While installing the manifold today this hole completely stripped and now I am wondering if this will still seal.

It is the second bolt hole from the front of the motor on the passenger side (#11 to torque down). I'd say there is less than 10 ft. lbs.. All the others are just fine.

Is this guaranteed to leak? 50/50? Or shouldn't be a problem?

Why not just heli-coil it?

Just not wanting to pull the manifold and also risk metal shavings.

I could hope for the best and if I can detect a leak when I fire it up heli-coil it then.

You mean after the intake warps? :-) Best to helicoil it.

I also like to use anti-seize with aluminum. Don't have to drench it, just a slight film will do.
